Dr. Denese vs Paula,s Coice on Serums

What if any beside price is the difference between Dr. Denese Hydroshield or Paula,s choice Antioxidant concentrated Serum?   Thank you for answers and opinions.

Check out product ratings at the Beautypedia website. They will steer you to products best suited for your skin type. Dr. Denese's serums seem to have hit or miss ratings; most of her serums are either a 5 star or a 1 star! However, steer clear of her exfoliators which contain irritating ingredients and preservatives.

I like to try new products, and while I use mostly Paula's Choice, I would be interested to try Dr. Denese's HydroShield Ultra Moisturizing Face Serum which has a 5 star rating.

I love Dr. Denese and have used her for years!  That said, I needed to try something cheaper so I ordered Paula's Choice serum.  It is ok, but in my opinion Dr. Denese gets better results.  When I finish Paula's Choice, I hope to try another brand in that price range.  Any ideas for that???? I hear a lot about No 7-----anyone use?

@pietook

Do not like #7.

I have used DR. DENESE Products for years.  I am running out of the Hydroshield, the best, but thought I would try Paula,s choice serum.  I,m glad I got the answer,won,t switch.

A new product, I just love and see so much of a difference in a week, is JOSIE MORAN ARGON OIL HEALTHY SKIN.  It,s Argon oil on steroids someone posted, and so true.

The Q is sold out, so I went on her website and ordered another bottle.  No EP, but who cares, I hate EP, keeps you in debt.

I wonder if regular argon oil is as good as DR. DENESE HYDROSHIELD?  Dr. DENISE JUST came out with something called INFUSION.  The Q has it on wishlist.  I will go on her website see if it is there.

I love Dr, Denese skincare products. They work for me. You only need a little bit of the product to see a difference. I have 50+ and holding skin and it looks good. I have sensitive skin with issues and I can use these products and see results.

Re: Dr. Denese vs Paula,s Coice on Serums

I have used both and both are good but in my case I stick with the hydrosheild because it's more hydratiing than PC's. My skin tends to get flakey around my forehead and chin and this is the only serum that works for me. Dr Denese will have a TSV at the end of the month. If you go to her facebook she says the TSV will have the Hydroshield, along with an emulsion face cream, eye cream and cleanser in large sizes. Not sure about the pricing yet but I would imagine about $150. I'm not sure if I'm going to get this yet as I really don't use an eye cream and have never tried the other 2 products but then again, it would be worth it just for the hydroshield. Also it seems this kit is for those with dry skin needing moisture so maybe I will try it. We'll see.

Thanks, I'll wait until the end of month.  Try the Super Argon Oil called Reserve for Healthy skin, by Josie Maran.  Fantastic.  I mentioned, I,m 2months shy of 81 and I see a big difference.  I am just about ready to get my juverderm and botox, but can hold off awhile with this product.  Yea, you are never too old to be vain.  Wait till the day comes and you look in the mirror and say, where did I go?  The fillers and botox help.  I get filler once a year and botox twice.  Enough to make me look in the mirror and say Hi.  I am in the public a lot with acting and giving tours, so I need the outward confidence.  The inward, I'm fine.  Anyway, thanks for the info.

I have used Dr Denese Serum for years. If I try something else my face breaks out and then becomes very dry. I am older and do not want to try any other product.
