I just received my supersize Whipped Lipid face cream today. It did not have a seal on the jar. Is there normally a seal around the jar or an inner seal under the lid? There was a plastic cover under the lid.

Thanks for your help.

None of the Dr. Denese products I've ordered had a seal - just the plastic piece under the lid....that was exactly the same for the Elizabeth Arden I ordered from Macy's and the cosmetics I bought from Walgreen's.

I feel all these cosmetics should be sealed.

I have been buying the exfoliating pads for years and there is always a seal under the jar lid

My whipped lipid didn't have a seal. The pads have a seal to prevent evaporation during storage, I believe. But most Denese products I've gotten don't have seals.

BTW, hope you like the whipped cream. I'm generally against whipped creams because I believe you're paying for air, but this stuff is different. I took advantage of a TSV that featured it and am very glad I did. It's really good stuff. I think it's better than her blue cream, which is talked up on the product page but isn't as good as the whipped lipid, at least for my skin.

I use the Dr.Denese skincare products and the only product that is sealed is the facial firming pads because of the liquid. The other products have a plastic lid on top of the product. I prefer the plactic lid because it lasts. The seal is one use. Works for rme.

They aren't sitting on store shelves, so there's not much risk of tampering, which is what the seal is supposed to indicate. I do get the desire for a seal though. It comes across as higher quality to have one.
