Yes! And either they keep the unused item or have to jump through hoops to return it (if it's something huge like an exercise bike, etc.)
Television shopping is more tempting than just surfing the internet.
(I am going to add to this post.)
Edited to add~
I just saw a presentation for the Calista Tools Perfector. Before? Flat, boring hair. After? Fabulous, fluffy hair.
Of course, right?
Well, the after hair style was obviously trimmed so it was not a real, legitimate before and after. They have that disclaimer that says "with pro styling" so I am guessing that since a "pro" cut the hair, it's not really a lie!
The difference in length was so obvious, I laughed out loud and put it on HSN.

I have never gotten into one of these discussions here but I feel compelled to add my 2 cents. First, I find it disturbing that there is so much hate here for Dr. D. She's a well educated and successful woman who has worked hard to get where she is. Why are women not lifting each other up in their success. So she had work done, does that negate all the positives in her skin care line? Just because she had some surgery doesn't make her products any less effective for the purpose they are intended for. I never heard her claim that these products will take the place of a facelift, just improve the skin.
I have used and keep a few of her products in my rotation, especially the Hydroshield Serum. It has great reviews even on Beautypedia. I find it to be a pretty constant product for me. The fact that Dr Denese has had some "work" done shouldn't even be a factor in deciding to buy the TSV. Everyone knows that there is no cream or serum known to mankind that can lift sagging features. That is an internal issue relating to muscle tone, tissue health and gravity. The only thing that will tighten sagging eyes or jowls is surgery. HOWEVER, the care of the skin can be helped by peptides, hyaluronic acid, retinols and humectants. The condition of the skin can be fabulous regardless of the fact that you have some sagging. Two different things. Yes, surgery does make a remarkable difference but I have seen women well into their eighties who have sagging but beautiful skin. Does anyone think Adrienne, Dr Brandt, PTR, Demitri, and so many others have not had a nip and tuck? They just don't admit to it.

Yes I had surgery. Here is what I had: reduction of my nostrils. There is no cream for that lol. Upper eye lid reduction: I had a lot of fat trapped under the eye brows making me look sleepy all the time. Plus I had a little extra skin on the lids. Plus brow lift. Recovery was h*** really but I am ok by now.
Why so judgmental? And she's on QVC to sell her skin care -- not to discuss her surgery. A lot of people NEVER admit it, but she's up front and honest about it, so why the harsh judgment?

Not too sure where the hate for Adrienne is because it's not on here. What you think is hate is NOT. It is an opinion of what the doctor is putting out there. If you don't like it, too bad.
Buy her products. It's your money but I will bet that you will not look as good as Adrienne does.

Well, Dimitri DOES admit to having had hair transplants! :-) I loved him even more for saying that -- totally didn't need to. And I really admire Dr. D. for being so forthright. She seems like such a genuinely nice person -- sweet. I wish I used her stuff!

Speaking of over done skin care names, how about Dr. Brandt?
Yes, I heard Dimitri admit to the hair transplant. When it comes to the face and you sell face products, you have to be a bit more realistic in what you present to the shopper.
Some will buy whatever a certain person sells regardless but that does not mean they are not being "taken". Dimitri will tell you flat out if a product is not for you.

Well said, ladies. I'm loving the Skinn I'm using, but darn it if I'm not tempted by Dr. D. now! The TSV is a fabulous deal.

Agree -- Dr. brandt is a bit alarming. :-)
