Dont use either one, but I do like the idea of the added Bakuchiol.

I noticed the first ingredient in the Dr. Denese serum is dimethicone and silicones are farther down on Dr. Nassif's which for me, along with the Bakuchiol included, would be my choice although I haven't tried either.

I use and like the Dr Nassif line including the hydro screen.  I like it as a last step.  And I think my skin feel more moisturized then when I skip it.  I have heard him say he asks all his patients to use this for 30 days prior to any procedure to increase moisture.  And can be used with whatever other skin care they use.

It's been at least 10 years since I used Dr Denese's hydro shield.  At the time I liked her line, but at some point I found things I like better and quit using.

I don't really understand/have any knowledge of what kinds of ingredients are better But I guess I just like the results of Dr Nassif's detox pads and hydro screen better.  I also really liked the day cream but it doesn't have SPF.  And I have to have that.

The FIRST SIX ingredients in Nassif's serum are all silicones. There is a SEVENTH one listed further down the line for a total of EIGHT SILICONES.

I tried Nassif's serum and I did not care for it.

Glycine Soja Oil is a good source for antioxidants + fatty acids.

..I really really like both.  WATCH OUT..It's easy to get too much  product out of Nassif's bottle,  I just ordered 2 more Nassif products.  On even nights, it's Dr. Denese, on odd nights it's Dr. Nassif, and on weekends, it's Dr. Perricone.    Variety is the spice....blah blahSmiley Very HappyHeart

The first ingredient in Dr. Denese HydroShield is dimethicone which is used in cosmetics and as an industrial lubricant.  If you like the way HydroShield makes your face feel go to Amazon and buy 4oz  MYOC Cosmetic grade Dimethicone for $20.
