I used this for the first time last night. First of all, the directions say "pump two times". Well there is no pump.
So I followed the directions and applied with the brush and smoothed with my fingers all over my face and left it on all night. Now, normally a peel will leave your face somewhat red as it is taking off the first layer of skin. I washed it off in the morning and my face looked the same. I really don't know what it is supposed to accomplish. My face was smooth, but it usually is after I use my Dr. Denise moisturizers.
Dr. Denise, could you please explain what I am to expect after using this product?????
If you have used this product, please tell me what you think. Thank you.

That is so weird. I only use the serum (nice) in this formula, so I can't help you...maybe call Customer Service or ask her on FB?

The jar ITSELF is a pump. Push down on the covering twice.
It is RETINOL that you can leave on. It regenerates the skin cells. Google it. You don't SEE it overnight.
I LOVE all of Dr. D's. retinol products. The only ones I can use and have tried many, many including RX.

The packaging was changed to a jar with a screw top because people had trouble with the pump top.
I love this overnight treatment. It has left my skin exceptionally soft and has shrunken the look of my pores dramatically. You would think it would dry out the skin but it actually feels moisturized the next morning. It's a very unique thing. I love it so much that I just bought and received two more jars! I ran out of my first (pump top) and didn't want to run out.
gem lover, you are not going to see results with one use.

You won't see results like you were expecting as it is a more gradual process, not one designed to have your skin peel off by morning. Over time, it will be rejuvenating your skin cells but it is not the type of peel that visibly removes the top layer of the skin. The fact that your skin wasn't irritated and red is actually a positive - it was formulated to have a more gentle effect on the skin.
Peels that you are thinking of are far more intense and not normally something that will occur overnight. Were you able to watch the presentation? If not, see if there is a video on the product page. Also try and read through the product description as that might really help you understand more fully how this retinol peel works.
Retinol is a slower, more gradual process yet over time, I don't think you will be disappointed because your skin will reflect the benefits and your will start to see more visible changes in texture, tone, age/sun spots and even firming.
Even a professional peel takes time for the skin to peel off nor do they occur overnight but this isn't this type of peel.
