Re: Dr Denese Clean Beauty, NOT!!!

[ Edited ]

Today there are so few blacklisted ingredients used (listed in accordance with the FDA and you can view them on their website), if any at all, in cosmetics that they would be almost impossible to find. Just recently Johnson&Johnson stopped selling their popular baby powder with talc b/c of the legal issues they have encountered spanning decades. So instead of fighting that problem they decided to replace the talc with cornstarch. Talc is not blacklisted by the FDA and is completely safe to use but there are people who seem to believe that it is still harmful today and will fight to the end about it. You can't force people into believing something if they don't want to.

Why do they let Dr. Denese get away with this deception??

@Laserbeam1

No deception what-so-ever.

1)  she was very forthcoming regarding her procedures done.

2)  Refer to @Johnnyeager   And  @SilleeMee

posts for correct info regarding 'Clean Beauty'

@Shelbelle

If it doesn't meet your criteria of Clean Beauty, then don't buy it.

However, the falsehood here is you stating it is false advertising, as others have shown it DOES meet the criteria.

You may not like their criteria, but they are allowed to set it.

Thanks for setting the story straight @RespectLife .

Isn't that the truth @SilleeMee .  You can't force people into believing something they don't want to.

It's always good to have the information, THEN make your decision whether or not you want to use it.

Re: Dr Denese Clean Beauty, NOT!!!

Vaseline can't be all bad since every doctor I've ever known recommended it for various reasons and every hospital uses it. My elderly father's nurse applies it to his dry skin. It has more good benefits than bad.

My favorite use for Vaseline is to coat the shepard's hooks where I hang my bird feeders. Bless their hearts, those squirrels try, but no squirrel can climb up the slippery hook to get to the birdseed. It's just too funny to watch them slide down the pole.

Love her products.  Has kept my face voided of many winkles at late 80's.

For those who are so opposed to "non-clean" beauty on their face or body.....are they as concerned about the food they put in their mouth?  We can't all find or afford a strictly organic diet.  We do what we can to live a good life.

@Shelbelle There is no deception here.  If you don't like the ingredients, don't buy.  It's no big deal.

Re: Dr Denese Clean Beauty, NOT!!!

Personally, I think "clean beauty" is overused; as if everything else is so bad for you.  I don't fall for it.  Like another poster said, use what you want, others may use what they want and let's all enjoy the beauty products of ours choosing.
