Re: Dr Denese Clean Beauty, NOT!!!

No trouble at all finding petro free products, just read ingredients.  Good grief, why would it be so hard??? Lots of brands out there to choose from, even at the drugstore.

The beauty game is self regulated.  Companies can define "clean beauty" in any way that suits them.  If you want to avoid specific ingredients, you can't rely on "clean beauty".  You have to read labels.

@bronxgal1  It was an eyelid lift (or reduction) because her vision was being affected by her heavy hooding.  I had an uncle who underwent the same procedure.

Not sure what you are referring to ..... the petroleum ingredient?  Having some plastic surgery?  What???

At least be clear so we understand what you are saying.

Dr. Denese's products meet the definition to achieve the QVC Clean Beauty Seal.

There is no deception. As noted, this ingredient is not on the QVC "banned" list.

There is also no national standard as to the definition of "Clean Beauty".

As of now, every retailer (and individual) may establish their own definition and standard.

QVC and Dr. Denese have done nothing wrong, per their own internal guidelines.

And some ( including myself), may say that there is nothing more natural than petroleum, a hydrocarbon composed of dead organisms.

From her FB page in 2015:

"Yes I had surgery. Here is what I had: reduction of my nostrils. There is no cream for that lol. Upper eye lid reduction: I had a lot of fat trapped under the eye brows making me look sleepy all the time. Plus I had a little extra skin on the lids. Plus brow lift. Recovery was hell really but I am ok by now"

@Laserbeam1

No deception what-so-ever.

1)  she was very forthcoming regarding her procedures done.

2)  Refer to @Johnnyeager   And  @SilleeMee

posts for correct info regarding 'Clean Beauty'

@Shelbelle

If it doesn't meet your criteria of Clean Beauty, then don't buy it.

However, the falsehood here is you stating it is false advertising, as others have shown it DOES meet the criteria.

You may not like their criteria, but they are allowed to set it.
