Can someone please explain the strong aversion some have to Tina Fey? I can't fathom what causes it. She's a SNL-type comedian. So? What's the problem?

Is there something political going on here that I'm missing? That's the only thing I can think of. Was it perhaps her uncanny and skilled mimicry of...you-know-who?

I can't believe this thread has turned into Tina Fey bashings! The only thing I can think of is what you alluded to- P a l i n supports are coming out of the woodwork.

How ridiculous if that's true. Comedians skewer politicians of all stripes. It goes with the territory.

I'm saddened by this news. I always enjoyed listening to his shows on Sirius XM.

I just read this!! There is a columnist from the Miami Herald that says her source told her that he was suffering from depression and committed suicide. I don't think that has been confirmed. Regardless of how he died, RIP.

there is not one thing in this article or the article published in the Miami Herald that mentions suicide. Why would you post this gossip and where did you get this supposed information from "the source"? Just because they report he was devastated by the mocking of him does not mean we can make that jump to suicide without any facts or coroners report.

I think it is just not nice to post this type of unconfirmed gossip about something this tragic. I saw him on television and he did seem like a very nice man.

they allude to it. it's a devastating loss. he seemed to be the most kind man who wore his heart on his sleeve.

all I read was that he had an illness. It may be true in the end but why must anyone post gossip?

Breaking News: Depression is an illness.

really? No kidding. Since those closest to him said he had an illness without stating anything further, blaming depression is just speculation. Perhaps the ME might find out something medically wrong. It's really not necessary to be so sarcastic.

I'm done with P.C. Just say what you mean and mean what you say. It's easier.

Maybe these comedy types ought to think twice about making fun of people.

Dr. Brandt seemed to be a nice, kind, person. It was probably more complex than a comedy show, but still.

Tina Fey made fun of Sarah P. relentlessly too. Never seen such viciousness in my life.
