I also just noticed your siggy. When I started dating my father used to tell me you could tell a lot about a man by how he treated a waitress. Boy was he right.

I have a special place in my heart for this quote because an uncle of mine, who was always the great hit of the party and who once showed his true colors at a family dinner in an upscale restaurant.

A young waiter apparently didn't satisfy my uncle's need for perfection. My uncle remained quiet until he received the bill. He turned to the young fellow and said, "I will make sure that you lose your job."

I just about lost my dinner and, needless to say, any affection or respect I had ever had for this man.
