I never thought those net puffs were very good at cleaning skin.

I prefer Dove Sensitive Bar soap for my lady parts and Yardley Oatmeal Scrub Bar soap for the rest of me.

I love Lemon Verbena hard milled French soap from Trader joes. I got tired of all the gels and such. I think soap works better for bacteria and such. I still use BBBeach shower gel in the bath for scent, then I use the soap to clean up

I have never liked any type of shower gel and always use bar soap. I use only Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Soap or the Sally Beauty knockoff of it. It is great for the skin and the only thing that keeps my skin from getting dry and flakey in cold weather.

I use both shower gels and bar soaps. For soap, I used either the Strawberry or Orange from The Body Shop.

In the summer, I find a deodorant bar soap is especially effective for my pits and undercarriage. The shower gels just do not cut it.

I use L'occitane shea butter extra gentle bar soap. They are big and are $10.00 each. They come in verbena and lavender too.

I use the Dove bar soap for sensitive skin. Just don't feel clean with the ""beauty"" type bars. Dove doesn't dry out my skin. After my bath I use either MorrocanOil brand Body Souffle or Josie Maron' s Whipped Argon body cream ""unscented"". Love them both.

I use Dial bar soap in the WHITE only. I found that the other Dial bars, gold, etc. don't rinse off, and leaves residue on shower walls and in the tub.

Body gels are like water, don't feel clean when I use them, and don't feel like they rinse off.

I'm surprised that so many people like Dove. I've tried it several times, and it feels like it leaves my pores clogged, as in, doesn't feel like it rinses off.

I use the white Dove bar on my face, but usually some type of shower gel in the shower. I like the lather I get from gels. My aunts derm recommends dove bar for the face and I have to say she has beautiful for her age. She is in her seventies. She also avoided the sun her whole life as she is a redhead and with fair skin.
