I love BE foundation and eye shadows, but, everytime I hear that BE was the first mineral make-up, I keep thinking "what about Indian Earth"? I think that has been around since the mid 70's. It came in an urn with a cork stopper. The instructions were to turn the closed urn upside down, upright it, and work with the mineral left on the cork. The original color was brown, very much like "warmth", and it was sold labeled as face color, blush, eye shadow, lipstick when put on gloss or balm, even nail polish, if you put a coat of clear on after applying it to the nails. It came out in mauve and peach color,s eventually.
Does anyone else remember it?
