Re: Does anyone like the tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip...

@PansyBoo  Thanks! Don't you hate that bleeding of color! ugh!

Don't feel bad I'm a slow learner too, I've got a house full of junk that I had to have at the time but never use or isn't practical for my life....I'm learning.

Yes, aren't those cheap glosses great. I'm definitely more of a drugstore makeup girl for the most part. Smiley Happy

Re: Does anyone like the tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip...

I have 3 of the plumping ones in the shimmer glass version (rose, berry, and soft pink).  I got the first one at Ulta.  The other 2 I got on HSN either as a TSV or on Amy Morrison's beauty show on Wednesday nights.  One of the few lip sets that felt like I could wear both colors.  That's one reason I have no interest in today's TSV.  I know I wouldn't wear some of the colors, so it's just a waste.

Obviously, I like them or I wouldn't have ordered the HSN set.  I disagree with their claim that there's not any sensation with the plumping ones.  I guess they say they don't sting, which is true, but there is a sensation, more of a cooling sensation.  I happen to like the sensations though, whether it's cooling or stinging.  I've never used a plumpler that actually did any plumping or even made my lips look plumper.  There is a bit of an odor to them, but not enough for me to find objectionable.

I almost always wear a gloss over lipstick, but these can be worn alone too, especially the soft pink shade that came from HSN.  There's enough of a gloss that my lips don't look bare, but nothing like the goopy lips in the presentation.

I like them. They last a long time and improve the lip texture. One warning--the plumper type feels a little tingly (not in a bad way). My husband kissed me once and about 20 seconds later he was shocked and asked "What the heck is on your lips?" Hahaha.

@CANDLEQUEEN

 I like a thicker gloss if you know what I mean

Lips and lashes are my thing.  With over 80 lipglosses, yeah, I know what you mean (g)  Someone here once asked me how many pink lipglosses does one woman need.  I'll let her know when I've made it to that point

Re: Does anyone like the tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip...

if you go for them just an FYI -  IDK what the shades are in the TS but the neutral colors are so MEH on the lips ...

i got one of these when Tarte had a View Your Deal offer a few weeks ago.   yeah it tingles slightly on the lips but the color i got is so blahhh. i got primrose and on my lips it is like a nude lip...

and another thing hopefully Tarte fixed is i only got about 5 or 6 clicks when you push up the lip product and THATS IT!  the rest you dig out with a brush or something.  see on Trte's site per Tarte's reccs.

Do you think that watching a shopping channel with hard sell salespeople attributes to the over buying of products?  I bought too many eyeshadow palettes but the ones I decluttered went to good homes.  All my other makeup, I have no regrets buying and anything I didn't like, I was able to return to Sephora, free return shipping.  Just sayin' Smiley Happy

@Icegoddess Thanks, yes, they seem to get good reviews so you and some of the other posters aren't alone in your liking of them. I always wear a gloss over my lippy too, just looks more juicy.

I do love a good gloss @Glittergalbut one with a nice zing for your kissing partner is an added bonus! Zing Zame ....Dangerous!haha

@monicakm Never too many! I love a good ballet/barbie pink lip gloss/balm.

Do you have a favorite milky lightish pink one?

Oh yeah, absolutely! They are very convincing but also I do find that sometimes the special sets are very good values and do save a lot of money from regular B&M stores.

Like the HSN special...I guess 1 is $24.00 or you can get a set of 5 with a liner for $42.00. That's really unbelieveably well priced for the number of items included. I think I'd use all but 1 of the glosses.

I know if I buy value or BOGO or sets of things that I know I love and use I have saved lots of money....Love those value sets!

@CatsyCline  Thanks, I do love a nude lip....I'm a blah girl. haha.

I know some like brighter shades and would think they are Meh.

But 5 or 6 clicks? That's not good!
