@Shelbelle I said the same thing until I got a Makeup Eraser in a BoxyCharm. Everytime I saw them, or anything like them presented, I thought they were all full of bologna and there was no way a cloth was going to remove makeup.
But it really does. All I do is wet the towel and it removes absolutely every trace of make-up from my skin with just water. I even followed with Paula's Choice BHA because that will find anything left behind and there wasn't a thing.
However, I have skin that tends to lean dry and these towels aren't something I could use on an everyday basis. If I use them several days in a row, my chin area will start to get dry and flakey. Maybe oily skin fairs better.
So while these aren't something I'd use as my only make-up remover tool on a daily basis, these come in very handy when I'm going out of town for a few days or camping so I don't have to bring cleanser and toner with me. I don't find that they save me anytime at night using these over my cleanser.

I bought the ones QVC sells and mine got stains on them which I couldn't get out. You can't use bleach on them and, depending on what you wash them with, they can get lint on them which ends up on your face.

I would buy only very dark colored ones if they are going to stain. But, I am not buying any at all. I always cringe when Philosophy Purity is on and the models use a white wash cloth to remove all their makeup, those cloths will end up in the trash, no way will they get clean.

@Shelbelle , yes. I have the Original Make-up Eraser and the washing instructions say to wash with regular towels on hot and that they are fabric softener and dryer sheet safe. That is how I wash mine and they come out fine. They say you can wash them up to 1000 times. I'm not anywhere close to that, not that I keep track. LOL When it starts to get worn, I'll toss it.

Just use the microfiber towels with your regular cleanser. I always use Windex with these towels when I do the windows, never just plain water. Same with face, never just plain water.
