Thought about getting it but I don’t have a dressing table or vanity or whatever to sit down and put on my makeup. I wonder how many people sit to do their makeup. I sit at a vanity to do my makeup and it is perfect for me.

If I had to do my makeup in the bathroom right now It wouldn't be a good item for that room.  No space.

The last year when this was a TSV I took a trip to BBB to compare Simple Human/Floxide/Conair, etc. I really wanted to see if there was a difference and the amount of light it cast. I have to say that I was impressed with the Simple Human but still could not justify that price in my budget. I found the Floxide mirror to be a bit too bright for me but I have allergies and migraines so that is probably a factor. I purchased a Conair. I'm happy with it because it fit my budget. Since then I have purchased a Floxite travel mirror because sometimes I'm putting my makeup on in the bathroom and not at my vanity. The travel mirror works great and was very budget friendly.

This is their first TSV so how could your statement be correct?

This is exactly why I've been 'on the fence' about buying this mirror.

I understand that for best results, one should be within a few inches of the mirror.  So, to determine how much bending it would take to get close to the mirror, I took a tape measure to the bathroom and pulled it to an 18" height from the countertop.  It came closer to my face than I would have expected.

I'm seriously tempted now.

I am tempted to buy the Simple Human lighted mirror that is the Todays Special Value.  Does anyone have these mirrors?   Is it worth the money? It is costlier than any mirror I have ever bought. Ive tried makeup mirrors from Walmart and from Kohls and had to return, the light was not good at all!!!

@CherryHugs    I have this exact one. I found it at my local Costco for $119.00 about two months ago.  I knew it was a very good deal so I bought it.  If it had cost $149.00 I would not have bought it.  For me that is just too much money as I use it very little.

I use it just when applying makeup.  So not all the time. It helps me to see how my makeup will look outside the house in real light.  It does a fabulous job for this.  My makeup now is pretty flawless using this mirror.

When I am not using it, I turn if off. I do not need it  coming on when just home and wearing no makeup. So not something I personally use more than maybe once a week.... but if you apply makeup daily, it would be a very good investment.

@Peridot    I found a stand  to raise it up off the bathroom counter so it is at a level I can use to apply makeup. Sometimes you just need to come up with a hack that works!

If you watch the video closely (they don't let you see it for long), you will see that the mirror is sitting on a riser.

To me it looks like they have it sitting on a glass lazy susan, which appears to raise the mirror up just a bit...maybe 2 inches at most. You can see in the first few minutes of that vid.

@SeaMaiden, the one from Costco had the little 10X mirror with it?  I thought I saw a SimpleHuman mirror at mine recently, but if I go to their website they don't have any SimpleHuman products.

I put my makeup on in my bathroom. I stand and like to hold my mirror. I think this would be too heavy to constantly hold. I have a Pop Sonic mirror I bought here at QVC, it’s good enough for me.

Re: Does anyone have the SimpleHuman Mirror?

I have this mirror and I love it! Is it expensive? You betcha, but it’s all personal preference. Some people drive BMW’s and some people like me drive a Ford. I use this mirror every morning M-F for work and some on the weekends.

A couple months back, I noticed that it was only holding a charge for 7-10 days. I contacted SH customer service and she walked me through doing a reset. Since then, the charge has lasted almost 3 weeks. Their customer service is great.

If your on the fence about it, I say try it. I am really tempted to get their trash can. I think what people choose to spend their money on is their choice. If you don’t want to spend that kind of money on something, then that’s your choice also. 😊
