A couple years ago I stopped using cleanser on my face in the morning. Just water from my shower.

I wash my hair in the shower everyday. If I take my shower in the morning I don't cleanse. I apply moisturizer before makeup. Then I cleanse at night.

I wash my face in the morning, and at night.

I put goop on my face before bed (oils, etc) and I like to wash it off in the morning.

At night I have to wash off my spf, makeup etc.

Sorry I just read your age on the post. I think you can skip the face washing in the morning and just use warm water. If your skin is very dry. If your not very dry, I would wash with something very mild in the morning.

Grandma R, I love you! I use bar soap, too...frequently some horrid deodorant soap....and there is rarely a day that passes in which someone doesn't comment on how great my skin looks! Now, I do admit to being Irish (yes, really Irish, born and lived there till 12 years old so sun rarely touched my face) but yep, have used plain old shower soap followed by Estée Lauder Idealist for years. An inexpensive and apparently effective skin regime. I am 58 and have yet to fret over a face lift.

As I have aged, my face only tolerates once a day cleansing so I only wash in the morning. And only apply skin care products then too. Since I don't wear makeup there is nothing I need to get off so I don't do anything to my face at night.

Many mornings I just use a face cleanser towelette type sheet. Then start with Vit C and go from there depending on what my skin needs.

I use a Shiseido cleanser with my Clarisonic every morning. How else do you reveal your new fresh skin? I follow this with a serum, moisteriser, and mu.
