@KittySoftPaws May I ask what you use? Thanks.

@cindyNC Sure, it's called La Prairie Skin Caviar Loose Powder. It comes in 3 tones, I have the Translucent 2 and I am Fair/lt.Med and it's perfect. I think most people would be this shade, unless you are very very fair. This shade has no yellow or pink tones just neutral. You get 2 pieces, a travel size of 0.35 oz. and the large size which is 1.41 oz. It's huge! I purchased months ago and am still using the travel jar. This will last me over a year. It's super fine, so a little goes a long way. I use with a very small tipped fluffy brush I got on Amazon. I don't like large powder brushes, as the powder goes everywhere. With this one, you can control the application much better. And I am not kidding when I say it makes your skin look airbrushed. Never dry or drying, and you never look like you have powder on your face. I don't like it if I can feel makeup on my face. Oh, and it does have skincare in it in addition to Caviar extract. Not sure what that does, but it's their signature ingredient in their skincare line. It does have a slight scent to it, if you are sensitive to scents, but I love the smell of it, to me it smells luxurious. I purchased mine on Nordstrom's during an Anniversary sale. If you have one near you, you can go in and try it at their makeup counter, that's what I did.

I rotate. Right nw I have been using for the last couple of days, my Elizabeth Arden Powder foundation(mineral). Forgot how much I liked it.
I also use Il Makiage as well which I really like.
I have Haus Lab liquid foundation which is nice, but I don't use it as much, becasuse it is a bit runny, but once on the face it holds up well.
So I use a few and alternate depending on my mood!

1. Balance and Glow. The shade I wear is the color of my age spots. Haha So the product blends them in and makes my complexion nice and even.
2. Doll 10 TCE powder compact, good coverage, smooth finish. I apply with a kabuki brush.
3. Number 7 stick foundation. Love, love. Full coverage that looks naturally flawless ( to my eye anyway) Moisturizing, unlike many creme sticks foundations. Of course I apply it over a moisturizer because my old skin is dry. Buy it from Amazon, $14.
And I think I learned from ladies here, to use a damp sponge after the foundation is applied. Pointy end to smooth excess in creases, fat end bounced over skin gives dewy look.

I have very sensitive skin, so I stick with what I know works for me.
I use IT Cosmetics CC Cream year round, but when I'm on vacation or if it's ridiculously hot/humid out, I'll use Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer as my lighter foundation. Both work well for me.
