WEN Styling Creme for me too.  Apply to wet hair before leaving the shower.

I am a total fan of Kevin Murphy products.  I use their Young Again serum to help protect from breakage.  It also gives a nice shine.  Their products are AMAZING!

Re: Do you use a product for heat protection?

I don't use heat styling and rarely even blow dry my hair. If I did use a dryer often or a heat styling tool, I would definitely use a heat protectant. There are dozen available at the drugstore. Tresemme makes a good one. I have WEN styling cream from TSV sets and it doesn't work as a styling product for me, but I keep some around in case I do decide to blow dry or use a curling iron.

Re: Do you use a product for heat protection?

I alternate between several products, including the WEN.  The important thing for me is that I use SOMETHING.  I find that the heat from the dryer seals the protectant into my long, straight, fine, lightened hair.  That helps keep the frizzies away and makes it smooth and combable.  I also end the drying with cool air, which really increases the smoothness and shine.

Most Definitely!  I have dry, coarse hair, I have tried all kinds of heat protectors and the very best one I have found that does not leave my hair greasy or heavy is SILK ELEMENTS WITH OLIVE OIL.  It is available at Sally Beauty.  Depending upon how your Sally store is arranged, sometimes it  is in the general heat protection products, sometimes I find it in the ethnic hair products.  Though I am Caucasian, this product works wonders on my hair!

I have below 4" my shoulders color treated hair and I'm enjoying Suzanne Somers Brazilian Keratin serum. I am highly sensitive and havent had a skin reaction in the past 3 weeks.

Re: Do you use a product for heat protection?

I just got a heat protector from Regis Salon, on sale.   I really can't flat iron much because my hair is too fine, but the stylist used it on me and it seemed fine.  I used it at home and had no problem with any build-up or dulling.   I probably try it for blowing as well.   I just hate to put too much junk on.   I have to use a leave in treatment just to comb my hair out, so that's why I try to limit products, but the Regis is fine...just to let you know.

I have every heat protectant they make, LOL.  I don't find any really work.  I have a lot of hair.  It's long and fine but has a lot of curl.  I do use them, but I don't  think they really work.  My hair looks great in the fall/winter when there is little humidity in Indiana.  In the summer, I wear it in a ponytail.

I use many heat protectants--most from Sephora.  Do they work...I don't think so, lol, but I still use.

Re: Do you use a product for heat protection?

You guys, I NEVER use a heat protectant!  I didn't think they actually made a difference but now after reading all of your replies I'm thinking I'd better start!  I blow-dry and flat-iron almost daily.  I clicked on this thread expecting the majority of the answers to be, "Of course I don't use a heat protectant, they're useless" but now I'm getting out the credit card to order a heat protectant!  haha.  Since I love WEN I guess I'll get the styling cream?  It sounds like that's what the other WEN people are using.  I just hope it doesn't make my thin, fine hair flat, that's my only concern.

Another Wen styling crime user here.  Note: if you are blonde the 613 version gives outrageous shine to your hair as well.
