I just can't wear a hat.  As it is, at the beginning of summer when I first get outside and start working, my scalp sweating causes itchy bumps on my scalp.  I can't imagine trying to deal with a hat in the heat ad humidity and wayward branches.  I must wear my hair up, so I use a scrunchie to minimize breakage.
