Since I am using those and it can be a bit drying I am washing my face everyother night as the pads seem to clean away anything and I wear skin cream during the day and night when I am home.

You should always wash your face at night. This removes any SPF, moisturizer, dirt, pollutants, sweat, makeup, etc, creating a clean base for any products or treatments you might use. PTR pads aren't cleansing wipes, they are treatment pads. If you're applying them over any or all of the above mentioned reasons for washing your face, they can't work as effectively. HTH!!

If the pads are too drying then perhaps you should only use them every other day but failing to wash your face every day because the pads dry you out is yucky.

You shouldn't offset the drying of a treatment product by not washing your face. That makes no sense. Your face should be cleansed every morning and every night to wash everything off and start with a new canvas. Cleansed skin receives treatment products better than non-cleansed skin. When you don't cleanse your skin you're setting yourself up for other problems. IMO, it would be better to back off of the PTR pads to every other night and see how that goes. It might end up that they're not right for you and you'll need to find a different option, but not cleansing your face isn't it. If the cleanser you're using has been fine up until now, then you'll know for sure the pads aren't good for you (for nightly use anyway). However, if you're using a drying type cleanser and then the PTR pads on top of that, you might need to re-evaluate your cleanser too.

Absolutely wash your face every day! You might try using a moisturizing cream fash wash, not a cleanser which might dry your skin. Impurities clog your pores if you don't wash daily. I have found facial pads to be very, very drying.

i use the PTR unwrinkle pads at night maybe 2x a week and i don't wash my face every night. sometimes use a facial wipe. i only wash my face at night if i have had makeup on and i don't wear makeup every day. i do wash in the morning. my skin is good, not dry at all. i don't even need to use a body lotion

You certainly should wash your face at least once a day! Your hands collect germs, you touch your face, bacteria grows, oils collect, dust and pollution collect on your face. YES! WASH your face!

I think the pads themselves are probably a bit harsh for your complexion. I would wash your face daily and reduce the number of times per week that you use the pads.

Is it necessary to brush your teeth everyday?
