Do you remove MU before using Clarisonic and what cleanser do you use with it?

While I am still waiting for my mine I was wondering if you remove most of your makeup first.I don't want the brush heads to get ruined from my foundation.Also whats a good cleanser to use with it? I no longer use purity,found it drying.Thanks.
