Do you line your lips?

[ Edited ]

I don't line my lips, I just put on lipstick. If you do, do you line it right on your natural lip line? Or do you try to chance the shape by going slightly outside the your natural line? Do you use a darker color liner than your lipstick? thanks

I do like to use a lip liner.  I always stay within my natural lip line.  I like to use a liner that is just a slight shade darker than my lipstick.  I don't care for the look of a liner that is significantly darker than the lipstick.

My lips look better with just a little bit of a difference between the liner and the lipstick.

Thought the style went out in the 1990's

One thing for sure is  if you line your lips and  your lipstick has faded off your lips  then all that remains is your lip liner which looks just awlful

Oh my gosh no lip liner has not gone out of style. Just the opposite. But I do not wear it. I tried once and it looked hideous.

Use a lip liner just about every time I use a lpstick or gloss.

Yes I do. Along the natural lip line and close to my natural lip color. Sometimes a little darker. I can't imagine going without it. I don't have an issue with my lipstick or gloss fading and just leaving the liner.

No I don't.  I don't need to since I have full enough lips with no lines or wrinkles around them. If I had wrinkles I think lining them helps to stop feathering of lipstick.

With single-digit humidity here, I need to grease my lips with ChapStick.    (I usually buy the Burt's Bees brand tinted "Peony".

Always, I have used a lip liner for years. I keep within my natural lip shape, the lipstick stays put, and keeps the lipstick from bleeding, always looks natural. I usually use just a slightly darker lipliner, but do not use a noticable darker shade as one host does, it looks bad. (CK)
