Do you HAVE to use a serum with LightStim?

I have been using it for about 2 weeks on clean skin and then doing my usual skin care routine after using the LightStim. (this includes retinol every other night which I think you are supposed to avoid before using). Does it make any difference as far as results? Have any of you seen results without using serum?

Any insights would be appreciated! Smiley Happy
