Thanks @SilleeMee.. I just looked, the 0.5mm is sold out!  I think I'll keep it on my list of things to try for now, though it does seem an effective tool!  Hopefully, it will be available again soon.

Adjustable stamps have a hollow base where the needles retract. That hollow space can be a source of contamination and is impossible to access to clean it out. Adjustable stamps have a dial located on the end of the handle and it's easily movable which means the needle length will vary each time it is moved. That is a problem.
