Do eyelashes grow back?

I lost my eyelashes, brows and hair due to chemo. Hair is now short curly fuzz (yay), some brows are back but not lashes. Discovered this when I was going to put mascara on and there wasn't much there. I'm not a big make up wearer and want to avoid the glue on lashes. Is that my only option?
