Re: Do You Use One, or Multiple Foundations Regularly?

I don't wear makeup every day, but when I do I reach for Urban Decay Naked Skin or Bare Minerals powder foundation in summer.

ONLY Bare Minerals original foundation powder.  Liquids just don't feel right to me anymore.

Re: Do You Use One, or Multiple Foundations Regularly?

I have four that I rotate through:  Estee Lauder Double Wear (my favorite), Stila Hide and Chic, Revlon ColorStay Full Cover and Soap & Glory Kick Ass (used to be CYO foundation).  I like them all but once I use up one of the non Double Wear foundations, I won't replace.  I'm trying to pare down my makeup collection.

It depends on whether it's for day or night.

My sunscreen sort of whitens my complexion a bit (Mad Hippie), so the loose powder I put on over it (Suzanne Organics) brings it back to my regular skin tone.

But at night, I use the loose powder and (Suzanne Organics) pressed powder mixed (I tap some of the loose powder into the pressed powder compact) and then it looks like my normal skin tone again.

I use the Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum every day.  Why not have anti aging in your main makeup!  It feels like liquid silk!  I love it.  You can see your skin through it!  I had worn Clinique for years!

@Caaareful Shopper, do you watch any of the YouTubers?  Since we switched to Spectrum streaming and have few channels, I have really started watching a lot of Youtube make-up "gurus" and beauty influencers.  I am amazed, and not in a good way, at some of the routines these women go through.

I watch influencers of various ages.  I don't follow any of their make-up routines but I am fascinated with what they do.  I cannot imagine going what some of them go through to put my make-up on.  These are women that are using 2 different primers, contouring products, bronzers, blushes, 2-3 highlighters, 3 and 4 different powders, 5 eyeshadows, 2 or 3 liners, false lashes, setting sprays.  I'd have to start getting ready the night before for work the next day.

As an aside, just this morning Spectrum added a number of new channels to my streaming, including Q2 so no more going to watch it stream through YouTube.  Yay.  LOL

Same.  I do not use any foundation.  Just a touch of under eye concealer.

I don't use any foundation regularly because I don't like foundation. When I do, I like sheer coverage that just helps even my skintone out and Glossier Skin Tint is my favorite for that.

@Lipstickdiva   Good news!  As far as TV shopping goes, I find myself watching Q2 more & more.  If I have no interest in a TSV, which is happening more & more these days, I see what damage I can do to my wallet on Q2.  I purchased some fantastic clearance deals (true deals) last week.

As far as Youtube makeup videos -- there are some really nauseating ones out there.  Tons & tons of makeup, layer over layer, cream over powder, and back again. I just can't.
