i used to use Bare Minerals, but got tired of the powder dust all over my vanity. I now go back and forth between Revlon Colorstay and Maybelline Fit Me. I'm happy with both of these liquid foundations.

Two. I use one in my normal shade and another slightly darker one to apply to the planes of my face where I would naturally get color from the sun...like a bronzer, sort of. That gives dimension to my face and I think it makes it look more natural and not all one color.

I have Bare Minerals, IT cosmetics foundation, and Laura Gellar. When all are used up I'm going with drug store brands. these are all ok, but they are expensive and overrated.

I only wear foundation in the cooler months and it's Revlon Color Stay. I rarely wear it in the summer because I'll just sweat it off. So October thought maybe March I wear it the rest of the year I just wear blush.

I have 4 liquid foundations that I love:
Becca
Giorgio Armani
Lancome Teint Idole
Bobbi Brown
I alternate between them, all are pricey but they last a long time as I don't need full coverage. I also have several powder foundations that I love and these I use more in the Summer.
BE
Everyday Minerals
Smashbox Halo
Tarte Amazonian Clay
I probably use my Lancome the most, followed by Becca. I like the coverage, and they both wear nicely all day, without having to add more powder.....

Two. I've used CG AquaSmooth compact foundation for 30+ years. My absolute favorite.
Right now I have a bottle of L'oreal True Match liquid because I wanted to try a liquid, but I still like a compact foundation best for my complexion.

I know I've found my three favorites, but there are so many tempting good ones here..... Bobbi Brown, Lancome, Revlon, etc...
I have Bare Minerals Pro [liquid] and I also like that one very much. But just like the Estee Lauder DoubleWear, I must buy two different shades and get the ratio just right, so I stopped using it.

99% of the time it's Laura Geller Balance & Brighten for me...has been for years! I have a Mary Kay CC cream with SPF that I use if I'll be outdoors for any length of time (very rare for me). I also have a mineral foundation from Meow Cosmetics that I occasionally use.

@Meowingkitty My skin tends to be oily so I find Bare Minerals works best. I have three shades....fairly light (good for winter) then add faux tan as needed during the warmer months. Sometimes I also add mineral veil. It works for me. I use these over the Denese day cream spf. I use the day cream more often in the summer for its spf protection and I believe the bare minerals also have some spf protection. I have not used regular sun screen on my face when I am at the beach and find the day cream with my hat works wonders. I cannot stress enough that the minerals should be buffed on the skin thoroughly. the more buffing the creamier it seems to be. Am running out of faux tan so I will need to order more. The mall in my area has a bare minerals store but I often buy online and find it cheaper there.

I normally am a 1 foundation woman. But I accidently ordered the wrong Tarte foundation and wasn't crazy about it so when IT was having TSV, I ordered an institutional size of the CC cream illumination that came with a brush. Then Q2 was having a big deal of an IT powder foundation that was 2 with a brush and I ordered that.
On top of all that, my local Giant Eagle decided to get rid of their cosmetics and had everything 75-90% off so I bought an ELF serum foundation, Revlon Photoready Instant Filter foundation and L'Oreal Infallible.
So now I have 6 foundations and I do alternate between all of them, depending on the situation. I've been trying to use the CC Illumination on the regular because it's one of the oldest. I'm not sure I'll ever get through the Tarte because I just don't like it. I should just cut my losses and toss it. The ELF Serum foundation is really light coverage so I generally use that on the weekends. I just slap it on with my fingers. The Revlon is quick to use as well because it came with a sponge applicator right on the top so I don't have to use anything else to apply it. The IT powder is very easy to brush all over my face but it's a little drying for my skin. I think that will be a better summer foundation.
It will be a long time before I "need" a foundation.
