I do my own. I don't wear nail polish. I used Londontown polish in a light clear color and loved the look. But after a month my nails were breaking and a mess. It has taken a while to get them to get back to normal. As for toes I do that myself. I have had a few pedicures and loved it but do not like sitting and waiting and paying for it.

No, I go every two weeks for a mani & once a month for a pedi. This Friday I am getting both.
I have been going to the same girl for thirty years....of course she is no longer a girl but a middle aged woman with a daughter in college.
ETA: When I do have them done I no longer get any fake nails. They are short & natural. Just polish & top coat.

I've resorted to doing my own nails, and like some others, prefer natural colors. But every once in awhile for a special event I go wild child. I do like getting pedicures, but these days I'm more concerned about health conditions at salons. I like color on my toes especially in sandal weather.
@ECBG If you can somewhat comfortably reach your toes...you can use a light color polish and it will be so forgiving that it will be acceptable. Concentrate of the joy of the soak and, if you can, give yourself an oil foot massage before. It will feel luxurious and you will be well pampered and polished!

I am mid pedi right now, I usually do two to three coats and the next day finish with a clear so I don't get color of polish in the clear bottle. But before the second day, I fell on the stairs and hurt my knee (hyperextended).
There is no way in anywhere on this earth that I'm letting Mr Red putting even a clear coat on my toes.

I do my own, I am stingy with my disposible income.
I only apply polish to my toes..in the summer months. When I had to see my foot doctor, she told me to not leave polish on all the time, it can cause toenail issues like a fungus, so I take my polish off and if possible go at least 1 day a week with out polish.
I have never had pretty nails so I do not polish my fingernails, but I try to keep the nail and cuticle filed and cleaned up....it's hard i the summer as I am digging in the dirt or working in the yard a lot. I wear gloves but that does not always help.
My girl friends get pedis at least 1x a month, they quit asking me to go along beause I always say no, plus they do not work and on the two days I am home I can find other things to do besides sitting in a salon getting my nails done.

I do my own. I sometimes have my daughter paint my toes for me because she does a better job. Colors my hair for me too. So I am lucky.
I do not wear polish on my fingernails and keep them short and neat but polish never stays looking nice on them for long. I can't stand them long either.
I have a friend always gets her toes done because she can't do it herself. When that day comes I guess I might. Have to have them painted for sandal season.

I used to get manicures and pedicures at the salon 20 plus years ago. I'm not very good with doing my own manicures but I don't expect it to be like the salon. I do what I can at home. I can't do a pedicure though. I get a pedicure once in a while. Like for a special occassion or treat, vacation or birthday. Not often at all.

I use to get my hair colored but since pandemic do at home. Like the color better but does not last as long either. I don't plan on going back.

I gave up fake nails years ago. I prefer my natural nails and until COVID, I had them done at the nail shop. Bright colors. I learned how to do my own mani pedi from YouTube so, that's what I have been doing since lockdown. Neutral colors that don't show any mistakes.

I think I'll follow your schedule. I've been done with gel nails since 2010.
