I have two professional pedicures a year April and June...maintain in between and then all polish goes off by Oct. I only go twice because I am a worry wart and have a fear getting a nail fungus. But darn if my size 9.5 feet don't look beautiful after a professional pedicure.
I do not wear nail polish on my fingernails anymore. I just keep them short, filed and buffed.
Sorry your arthritis is being bothersome. It's a pita when our bodies don't let us do stuff anymore.

I've always done my own manicures and pedicures. It's something I love doing and I've been blessed with strong well shaped nails so it has always worked well for me. My nails have always had color and it makes me happy.
Fortunately, the awful arthritis in my hands has not kept me from doing my nails. However....... For the past 18 months I've had to keep my toenails unpolished due to an ongoing fungus issue on one of my big toes.
I've been to two foot doctors and treated it with a prescription med for over a year. That med hasn't helped at all, and my insurance won't pay for any of the other drugs that are prescribed for this particular fungus. The other meds are $600 and up. So I no longer have polished toenails and I hate it.
I hope that you're able to find some kind of solution to your problem. Personally, I'm getting resigned to bare toenails. Ugh.

I've always hated my toes. Then a few years ago I said heck with this, I'm wearing (nice) flip flops during the summer. Last year I started having my toes painted at a salon. For me, it's makeup/jewelry for my feet And this blue I have on now is gorgeous. I think next time I'll do the same only with a deep purple. That will be in Oct most likely and a perfect color for the month. I hate orange and did orange last Oct. I hated my toes the whole time. I don't know what I was thinking.

LOL, well I guess that would make it easier to figure out. I would have to call Sephora to know how much I've spent. I've been Rouge for two years and will be (so far) till Dec 31 of 2024. That gives you an idea if you know what it takes to be Rouge 97% of my makeup and skincare comes from Sephora.

Never. My manicures chip within days and my pedicures are a mess (lessons from the lockdowns). I don't love sitting in the chair but I love professional results. I do a natural length dip (no tips) and regular pedicure. Both are a huge confidence boost.

@monicakm You're probably "over the limit" already (!!!). I get my makeup from Kroger, Amazon, even Big Lots, so you might say I'm kinda frugal..... di

Now you've got me curious to see if that Rouge status has changed to Dec 2025...Yikes! I really don't think it has. It was like coming off drugs when the UPS girl wasn't here nearly every day with more Sephora goodness. Sephora probably thinks I've died. I'll be back...Nope, still Rouge thru 2024 thank goodness. But I noticed they didn't give me any points for my last purchase. Hummm
