I had never heard of this brand, but came across it this weekend and fell in love with some of the colors.  It's not cheap.......$18.00 per bottle!  But there were a couple of colors I just had to have, so I splurged.  Brand is "Smith & Cult".

I got "Fauntleroy" and "Gay Ponies Dancing in the Snow".  I put the Fauntleroy on first and then topped it with the Gay Ponies....it is gorgeous!

This brand was on one of the morning shows as a Deals & Steals or Steals & Deals for $7.50 a bottle, limit 2 bottles I bought Fauntleroy and Stockholme Syndrome.  I love the colors and the bottle but the quality was no different than most polishes in the $7-$10 range.  I would purchase again on sale but not for full price. (I seldom pay more than $10 for any polish)

Even if the quality is the same as let's say, OPI....I would still pay more to get some of the Smith & Cult colors.  I always look at nail polish, regardless of what store I'm in.  I have some OPI colors I like, but have not found any OPI, or any other brand for that matter, that has some of the colors and /or shades of color that Smith & Cult has.  I will build my stash of colors from this brand slowly.
