Disappointing reviews for Xmas....

Anyone else feeling really let down by whats on offer this year for
Xmas?

What should have been a glorious box ripping event this morning, was instead a huge disappointment. What happened this year? I feel like I've been had {#emotions_dlg.mad}

The products are vague smelling and very perfumy. Theres an awful sythentic perfume note running through all the new scents and its horrible. The only ones worth salvaging from my entire order of each new scent, is Twinkle Berry, Mulling Spices and Cinnamon Hot Toddy. Whoever approved these scents should be fired. They dont evoke or fit the Philosophy brand and are terribly uninspiring, cheap smelling vague scents that do very-little-to-nothing, to convey "Christmas".

Peace on Earth: Minty, clean, cucumber/melon orchid. Strange.

Snowflake: Smells like Handy Andy disinfectant.

Sugar Plum Frost:
Watered down Body Shop Dewberry clone.

Ginger Berry Frost: Watery berry punch.

Cozy Christmas: Smells woodsy, no vanilla at all, jasmine is terribly synthetic.

Cinnamon Hot Toddy: EXTREMELY similar to fresh Baked Apple Pie, almost a scent-twin.

Twinkle Berry:
Musk and sharp berry, not unlike the lovely, sharp berry in Sugar Sprinkles Funnel Cake, a hint of bakery deep down? Nice strength. Lotion smells like raspberry yoghurt.

Happy By The Fire:
Theres no way you would guess citrus or musk. Its a vague, faint perfumy smell. Watered down Tang maybe?

Vanilla Frost:
Baked goods scent with artificial perfume note thats in everything else this year. Not very nice and certainly not vanilla-like.

Mulling Spices:
Nice, sweet, milky chai tea with the bare minimum of
spice. However its extremely faint and more resembles the last sip of milk and tea leaves at the bottom of the cup thats gone cold. They should have amped the strength up on this one.

Where are our sweet Xmas treats? The soul wamrning scents to make our cheeks blush with warmth and comfort? The scents we snuggle up with by a crackling fire as we read stories to our children?

What kind of Christmas is Philosophy trying to convey to us this year? Whatever it is, I dont like it. Give us back our Christmas Philosophy!
