Re: Disappointing Beauty Box

I bought the one from Target last month that was mentioned on this site. It was 7 bucks, free shipping and of the 5 products 4 were winners. There was also a coupon in the box for 5.00 off a 15.00 beauty purchase. I would buy that box again. I bought the Allure beauty box (it was huge with tons of products) once but found it was lots of drugstore stuff, mostly for hair, and wasn't at all targeted to me, my age, my needs. Three of the products were for acne and two were for dandruff! Neither is a problem for me. I've also bought Birchbox and that wasn't much of a thrill as the color cosmetics were so far off, they went into the trash.

Re: Disappointing Beauty Box

I love the Q's beauty boxes and Walmart's beauty box. Both send very generous sizes and I have found many products that i will reorder when I am finished with what was sent to me.

Re: Disappointing Beauty Box

Hi Ladies - I've been getting different beauty boxes for quite some time. I started with Birchbox (which I cancelled after a year - never really cared for what I received), I then signed up for Allure's Sample Society (that was even worse then Birchbox!!) then I signed up for IPSY (I do really like this one - not always great but more good than bad- I'm still subscribed). I was also signed up for Beauty Army...didn't care for that one so much - cancelled. I'm also signed up for the Walmart box (great one for $5!)

My three favorite boxes are Blush.com, GlossyBox and Boxycharm. I'm always pleased with what I receive from these boxes - they are a little bit more money but you get way more full size products!!!

Re: Disappointing Beauty Box

There are tons of YT videos on every beauty subscription you can imagine. Put the name of the subscription in the search bar then sort by most recent date. You can see what has come in previous boxes and see if you feel it is worth $10 or whatever per month.

Beauty blogger and YTer who loves it all! Cheers, Lulu Bea aka Lulu On Beauty - Let's be FACEBOOK beauty friends!
