Finally -> Early, (Insider Info) of "to be" Discontinued Product.

I've found out, finally, *earlier then usual,* that my BELOVED, FANTASTIC Avon "Gel-Oil" I've used on my hands for YEARS, is being discontinued! 

(Still some supply, in enough timem, before ebay $scalping to try, & perhaps order/hoard more heh) 

I attribute my "gorgeous" (humble, arent I, heh) healthy looking, young, unblemished, proud, but *abused, heavily used, glove-gardening hands* to this particular Avon "Gel Oil," (for years)

      It's NOT GREASY!  I *HATE, HATE GREASY!* anywhere!

      Every night, in bed, before sleep, I rub in abt 2-3 tsp on backs of hands, palms, up fingers, cuticles, and in short order, totally absorbed.

(Not my fave subtle scent but, what the heck, I'm sleeping!)

NOTE:   ->  I've tried all (4) of the highly rated, less expensive Johnson & Johnson, GEL OIL bottle/tubes.  *NO WAY!*  They're much too greasy, not absorbent for me...

If you try it, hope you find it effective.

I'm indulging.  That J&J Gel Oil is YUCK!!.

Can you tell me what it does for your hands?  I can see with the argon oil it would be moisturizing, but you think it does more than that?  What's the scent of the green one (original)?  The other one is strongly floral?  You only used it as hand cream?  Thanks

As a result, I paid more attention last night when I applied it to my hands, per usual.

Yeah, I HATE when a very very beloved, years & years of use product is discontinued.  Actually, drives me crazy!  I despise the expense & frustration of looking for an alternative, & usually, I've found, none even come up to the wonderful-ness of the good ole stand by.

Thanks why I posted this *ALERT* here.  esp in enough time for ppl to try it and buy a hoard if they like it.

I squeeze abt 2-3 tsp on the back of my hand, and stroke it in my entire hands, fingers, cuticles, and any left over, up my wrists & beyond, if there's enough.  Takes figuring out how much you want to "squeeze" heh

It absorbs.  Does NOT sit on top of my hands!  Yeah, it's a tiny bit sticky, compared to having nothing on my hands, but if my hands needed this product, of course my hands were dry, not slightly sticky. heh

I dont remember what the green scent is.  Says original.  I'm not partial to Avon's scents at all. But I found the PINK the most acceptable.  esp since Im soon asleep with my soft, moisturized, happy hands.

But also, Im VERY HARD on my hands, even gardening, raking A LOT (with gardening gloves), hand wash my car, 2x yr, (with Playtex gloves)  AND I wash, brush, exfoliate my hands, nails, under nails clean, repeatedly thru the day.  I'm kinda a form of "germ phobic, esp on my hands."  But they show it, clean, blemish free, & young too!  *wink*

During the day, my skin doesnt move, it's so dry & "looser, like an old lady."  As I stroke my hands, the skin stays exactly where i stroked it to. Like Old Woman's skin.

  At night, after application of this Avon pink Gel Oil, my hand skin, & wrist skin *bounces back* to youthful. no "dry, stay put, lines," & even seemingly "even toned" all the way up past my wrists where I also use up this pink Gel Oil.

Yeah, I only use this PINK Avon "Gel Oil" product only on my hands,  EACH & EVERY night, without fail, for years & years, as long as I can remember. 

The tube is at the headboard of my bed, so I have no "lazy" excuse to myself! heh  I cant ever remember missing a day in the years I've used this exact product.

I tried to buy my fave, (going out of inventory, nail polish on the Avon webpage.  No luck.  Since its less expensive on Avon url, than even on ebay NOW, Im going to try to buy more of the Pink Gel Oil off the Avon webpage, for even more backup even. Otherwise, I'll revert to ebay again. I cant be without!

Recently I tried an Amz Choice "Being Naturals" "Aloe Vera Gel" - nope, didnt work. Not moisturizing enough, at all!

Tried all four of the Amz Choice "Johnson & Johnson 'Oil Gel,'" NOPE, very, very greasy!  Didnt absorb in.

Now, I use a whole host of other products, other brands, for all the other parts of my body.  None work as well as the Avon Pink Gel Oil on my hands.
