Dip Tip French Manicure Review

I used this today for the first time, I have very mixed feelings about it.

On the Pro side: it is very quick to use and it establishes the nice curve at the bottom of the white part of the nail that's hard to do when you freehand a french manicure.

On the Con side: The plastic piece that's designed for the pinky left just only on the sides of my nail, blank in the center. I don't have particularly curved nails, just average. I tried flattening the plastic out as they recommend, didn't help at all.

After I finished doing my nails, I had to use the polish with the regular brush to go over each nail. It was easy because the white was already on there in the correct shape, but not as simple and 'one step' as they make it look on tutorials. I will probably keep it, it's very quick and my nails look pretty good--but I guess it would be better for people who are completely unable to do a french manicure on their own. I will say that $18 plus shipping is a lot to pay for a piece of plastic and three bottles of very average polish!
