Has anyone tried this foundation? I got a sample a few days ago, but find it to be a bit drying, especially around my nose to mouth lines. I am wondering if it is better suited for those with combination or oily skin. I called Sephora, but they didn't know if it is oil free or not. I was told that it was for all skin types. I like the moderate coverage it provides and found a good shade, but am starting to think that it is just not suitable for dry skin. Any feedback/suggestions appreciated! Would love recommendations for hydrating foundations imparting a dewy finish!

It is better for those with normal or oily skin.

I have very dry skin and I am using Dior Star right now. I apply it with a beauty blender - one layer. Applying it this way leaves my skin with a very dewy finish. I set it with Urban Decay all nighter (though when I finish this bottle, I'm going to try Chill). If I feel I want a more luminous look, I apply a little Becca shimmering perfecter liquid on top. It works great.

I have it-actually have two because I mix too shades together.......I'm still on the fence about it because I swear it is causing a few clogged pores (it is not oil free). It does look ok but nothing is worth clogging pores.

Yes--- I got it---I liked it the first few times---didn't after. Also tried the YSL new one. That was ok. Also tried the Givenchy Teint Couture. Still like my Revlon Colorstay the best.

Estee Lauder Invisible Fluide is nice--and so is the Doublewear LIGHT.

Someday I would like to try the NARS Sheer Glo.

Thanks for the comments! Will give it another try and use the Dior Glow Maximizer with it and see what happens. Thanks for the other foundation suggestions -- very helpful!

I have dry skin and I love this foundation. I use Essential serum, moisturizer and Dreamskin by Dior first. My skin looks amazing.

I am not familiar with this foundation Dior Star, is it new?

I have tried the YSL fusion ink, wasn't crazy about it. The EL Invisible Fluide was nice, but not a winner, never tried the doublewear light.

I just yesterday bought NARS sheer glow - I LOVE this foundation. I purchased this once before a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it then too, as a winter foundation (I am oily and have a different "skin" during the winter months. You should definitely try it, sheer to buildable coverage and a magnificent range of shades from which to choose, really true colors for a perfect match to your complexion.
