Re: Dimitri's sleeping eye mask

Do you like using this?  Do you use becuase you want the light not to come in and wake you up?  I know that since my head injury we realized my eye doctor that my left eye issues is because I am not able to close my eye all the way when I sleep and irritants get in and cause infection sometime so I have to use a greasy ointment in my eye and I have been forgetting seems like this eye mask would be good to use unless it has chemicals in it.  Thank you.

Re: Dimitri's sleeping eye mask

Hi Downton Abbey,

I do use the mask to keep the light out.  It's very effective.  It does not fit tightly over your eyes, but has "pockets" for your eyelids.  If that makes sense.  So it is cushioned and very comfortable.  As for chemicals, the fabric might have a fabric finish on it that most new fabrics have.  So I wouldn't count on it being surgical grade.  The color is a deep purple so it does have a dye.  You might use a gauze over your affected eye and then wear the mask. Hope this helps!
