Hi @Beauties
(Aside from being "shade, color blind,")
I cant figure out the differences in these two OPI Nail Polishes, with the Same Color Name, & both ID as "Creme.".
(One has a Black Top, One a Silver Top)
Are you able to help ID the difference from one another? TIA

@JoyFilled Warrior They are both pretty colors and almost the same. I did a quick look online and found a video with someone trying on all the colors in the new collection. It looks to me like one's a little warmer (me myself opi) and one's a little cooler (meta soulmate) - very close tho! She described the me myself one as having a little bit of a peach tone to the pink. I'm sure there are more swatches and videos on line. If you learn more, post the info!

Yeah, I cant figure out what Im missing?
It's the same for several other colors too, on that same PINK OPI nail webpage.
I'm wondering if one is thicker than the other, or lasts longer, dries faster, or whatever I'm missing is the difference?

OPI has a few different product lines in the same colors. That's why it gets confusing.
The first item (black cap) in that listing is their regular nail lacquer, "OPI Nail Lacquer, I Meta My Soulmate". That's their standard nail polish.
The second listing (silver cap) is from their "Infinite Shine Long-Wear Lacquer" line in the same color, "I Meta My Soulmate". This line is supposed to last longer than their regular lacquer.
Both are from their collection, "me myself and OPI Spring '23
Collection".
If you check out OPI's website, you will see how they describe each line. They also have a gel polish and a powder dip product line.
Hope this helps you out!

Wonder why OPI would make a line of "regular" and a line that is supposed to wear longer (long-wear)? Why would anyone buy a formula that doesn't wear as long if there is an option of a longer wearing formula?

@monicakm Not only that, but when I tried their Long-Wear version and thought it wasn't wearing well at all, not better than their regular polish, I brought it back to Sally's and chatted about that with a sales guy.
To my surprise, he agreed with me and said it wasn't the other beauty products I was using that caused the shine and wear to fade quickly, he said it was the Infinite Shine!
He said many people swear by it, but he felt it was no better than their regular polish and like you said, he wondered why they would try to outdo their regular polish 🤔. of course people would just buy that line! I guess there are people who love each line! He preferred the regular polish too!
He gave me my money back, which was fun! I didn't expect that tbh but I just put it back into more polish anyway lol.

@JoyFilled Warrior and all .....
Thought I'd try again. The two colors are in the first row of the picture. I meta my soulmate is on the right, the other to the left. Can you see the subtle difference?

I think one is used for a regular manicure (black cap) and the other is for a gel mani.
I get regular manicures and my tech has told me to pick out an OPI polish with a black cap.
