wearing Blush will make you look younger?? It's true too. As we age we lose color in our face and the blush gives you back a little color. I recently started using Laura Mercier's creme blush and I LOVE it. You don't need much and I smile and apply to the cheek and spread out with my finger. It gives me a natural looking blush color plus you have more control using a creme versus powder I have found. What kind of blush do you use? Creme or Powder?

I alternate between powder and gel or cream. Sometimes I will use powder and then add a small amount of gel or cream on the very upper part of my cheek.

Still love and use bareminerals (aka bare escentuals) loose blushes and radiances. Sadly they are hard to come by so I purchase from eBay. I do not care for anything new from bereminerals but was very loyal to their former products. The radiances especially. Agree, in my world, can't leave the house without it 😍👍🏼!

@Katcat1I use both. I put the cream on first then powder on top. Like setting your liquid foundation with powder. And you can create different colors this way.

Just make sure you don't have a big, geometrically perfect circle on your cheek. I see many older woman with this and its obvious their application technique it's flawed. I wonder if perhaps dimished vision is a factor. I call it the "clown effect".

@LoveMyBaby I also love the bareminerals. Thankfully it lasts forever so I think I may be set for life.
I think everyone looks good with a touch of blush.

True about using blush. I use gel or cream. In summer, I don't use foundation but blush only.

Blush and lip color are my favorite makeup products. My favorite cream blushes are the Clinique chubby sticks and I have three colors. I do like powder blushes as well.

I agree!
My go-to blush is Benefit's tints. They look garish in the bottles, but wonderful when applied to the skin. And, as long as I set them with a little bronzer or powder blush (pressed powder will probably do), they last all day. I LOVE them.

I have a variety of cream and powder blushes. I like applying them with duo fiber brushes which almost ensures a natural look. The MAC 187 brush used to be the gold standard but cheaper alternatives are starting to match the quality.
