Did they change the formula? Tarte Lights Camera Lashes?

I used this for at least 5 years, maybe longer. Tried others but Tarte is the ONLY one that I can really build my lashes and NEVER have Racoon eyes.

Bought a new tube from Ulta (I normally buy the 3 pack here on QVC) and it is "wetter" and is NOT working the way my known Tarte mascara works.

Does anyone know if the formula has changed?
I'm wondring if I should re-order my 3 pack from the Q and maybe it's diff. than the one from Ulta but it shouldn't be!!??

I too love tarte! Yes, I think they did change formula a little. I buy from qvc and ulta as well, ( most recently from qvc), and it does seem a little different. My only complaint was it dried up sooner than other mascscas maybe that's why it's wetter now. I hate when they change thinks in makeup! Was willing to suffer through that problem because like you, it's the best to build with. Why can't these cosmetic companies' leave well enough alone!

and I really don't want to start the mascara hunt all over again, I tried ALL ...from Drug Store to Ulta to Sephora, without even joking I bet I bought over 25 diff. mascara's, even got the Sephora sampler, I finally settled on my Tarte and LOVE it and wouldn't even think of using or trying another, I had found my HG of mascara's and wasn't going to even try another. I will try it a few more days but so far my lashes just get to wet, won't seperate, I wait between coats and still can't "build" the way I have all these years of using it.

I'm so upset about this. In the big pic of things, I know this is nothing but I don't have time in the morning and I for sure don't have the time to research and find another mascara!!  Smiley Sad

Everything Tarte changed once the company was sold. I was a fan, but I don't buy or use Tarte anymore.  Unfortunately $$$ became more important than the integrity of the company - kind of like what happened to Philosophy when it was sold to Coty.  I wouldn't be surprised if some of the product you are getting on the outside is the older quality product and what you are getting here is the newer / fresher (but no one will tell you that it is "new and improved") or has gone through any formula changes.

and the Mascara I used and loved Prior to Tarte was mally but I still got racoon eyes and had to "wipe" under my eyes during the day, not what I like to do!!!

BUT, reading reviews, it appears it's changed too.

I like a "brush" not those plastic pointy brissals, I thought about Peter Thomas Roth but his brush is the type I hate. I like brissals....

I also found that the last Tarte I had was different. I have switched to Laura Geller GlamLash and I really like it. It doesn't clump gives length and definition and doesn't flake on me.

I really like it.

I've been using Tarte's LCL for at least five years and I've always had a problem with it drying up quickly but I also saw Maureen say on QVC that you can add water or her maracuja oil to it so I just add a tiny bit of water and a tube lasts me about 2 to 3 months. I just bought a two pack from QVC and haven't opened it yet. But the tube I am currently using is still the same old formula. I'll be really disappointed if they have changed the formula because I LOVE LCL. It gives me beautiful thick, long, lush, fringy lashes that I always get compliments on. And it is very healthy for my lashes. Every time I tried a different mascara, my lashes would break off and fall out.

QVC lost a lot of my posts too!
