I think a lot of former hosts who were no longer deemed as “host material” by the powers that be were designated as vendor reps, thus coming back in those capacities  - some selling skills but not able or willing to push sales as desired by management.

I think these top selling hosts who are so popular think they can do better for themselves elsewhere and it never seems to pan out. I will be very surprised if LR ever makes it big again, just look at Kathy Levine who was the top selling host of all time.

I don't think so. Kathy was there for what 13 years? Lisa 20? Jill and David 25? Less products back then as well. She couldn't possibly have been the top selling host of all time.

David V is QVC's big dawg and his kitchen shows are so popular, he can sell 5000 Vitamix in 4 hours. At a TSV price of say $279, that's almost 1.4 million dollars on one product, No way did Kathy sell that much inventory on a regular basis.
