Re: Desiree from IT Cosmetics

I agree with @Shanus  about the dry shampoo.  That and some back-combing or teasing helps me get lift.

I think her hair looks great!  Not dated at all.

@Knit-Chick   I do think too large a bump can look dated like when the bangs were high and teased....I called it "mall hair".

I've seen Desiree on previous IT shows, it does look like she teased her hair to give it a little lift on the crown.

I am an "old "60's" girl...A mod rocker with that "London look"..That is exactley the look... Jean Shrimpton had it, Pattie Boyd had it...Desiree has it...and she wears it well..... She certainly loves and believes in her product.  I think she is a sweet young lady.    I am happy to see she hasn't changed......and the products are good.....no BS....good stuff...no fake claims.....

What brand of dry shampoo do you ladies use? There are so many out there ... but I've not tried any of them. Thanks.

@San Antonio Gal

The year I retired from teaching, the hair lift from those little hair pieces were quite popular.

You may enjoy one, and there's sure to be a video on it!Smiley Happy

Re: Desiree from IT Cosmetics

A former co-worker of mine had hair very similar to Desiree's style and she used one of those Bump-it hair accessories to give it that big lift in the back.

I have that brand on a wish list but just never got around to ordering. I think I will give this a go on my next order from Amazon. Thanks

Re: Desiree from IT Cosmetics

@San Antonio Gal , Drybar has a brush called Texas Tease Teasing Brush that I use to get volume.  I don't use it to tease but the brush can get in there at the roots and with hair product and drying I can get good lift at the roots; not a full-on bump but root volume.   Sephora carries it if you want to take a look at it online to see if it is something that may work better for you than tradiitonal teasing.
