Has anyone here used this? I wonder if it's as good as Tatcha's Rice Powder.
Oh, they have a rice based exfoliant too

I haven't tried the milkfoliant but I do use the daily microfiliant every day and I love it. I have no idea how Tatcha compares but the Dermalogica one I use has made my face so much smoother. It took off all the barnicals (what my dermatologist calls dry bumps). Highly recommend that and all Dermalogica products.

@monicakm I rec'd an ample sample size and used it for two weeks at night. I gave up my Retin A since I wasn't sure if both would be too irritating. It's a powder that when added to water gets slightly foamy. It does have AHAs and BHAs, but as usual no percentage is given which is a beef of mine in any skincare. That's why I discontinued my Retin A.
Review: It did not irritate my skin, my face felt cleansed, but neck was red for quite awhile, so I stopped applying it there. It does not address hyperpigmentation, a stronger product would have to be used. I felt that it really only cleansed the same as using a washcloth to remove my usual cleansers and not much else. Up to you if you want to give it a try. I suggest at night before moisturizers , but don't use any other acids in your routine AM or PM. It may be overkill.

@Shanus - which one did you try? The white or blue?

@monicakm - I was going to order a few samples of the white product on Ebay. The samples come in packets. I wasn't aware of the blue one. Maybe I'll try both. I'd rather try a sample before purchasing a full size. I know they also come in travel sizes which are pretty generous sizes.
I really wanted to like the Tatcha Rice Powder, but something irritated my face and I ended up with red splotches.

@San Antonio Gal I tried the blue container. I think the white one has salicylic acid and mentioned acne and blemishes.

@monicakm Im adding to this thread, so its closer to the "THUMBS UP..." thread that relates to one of these same "Dermalogica Daily" products.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Which version (or color jar) did you use that irritated you? I use the purple jar. I think it's the gentle one. I know everyone is different but I've been using it nightly and have had no skin issues.

I think the only reason this caught my attention is that my mother has been using powdered milk (lactic acid) on her face for decades. Her complexion is flawless except for the wrinkles she finally developed at around 81. She's 83.
