I really like Dara.  I met her, two years in a row, at the good ol' QVC beauty bash!  The first year she sat at our table, next me and we had a great chat. The second year, when we saw her, she remembered my friend and me.  It was very sweet and genuine.  We had a good about the year before at our table.  The original beauty bashes can not be beat.  It was much simplier and easy going.  As the years went on, they got more corporate and I quit going.

She is lovely either way. Glad she lost the weight though... I know it's not a popular or politically correct thing to say but obesity/being overwieght is proven to cause health issues and reduce the human life span.

It shouldn't be an insult.  People should work to control their weight, just like any other task to living a healthy life.  It's not easy and of course people have different reasons why they may not lose, even when they try.  It's a problem just like any other condition.  Society shames too much.  To the extent we can't even celebrate someone that obviously did something to help their situation.  Which is a GOOD THING.

yet she sounds the same - to me she always reminds me of my 1st grade teacher who was humorless with a "oh shame on you" tone of voice as if anything I did or said was wrong and unladylike. Tsk tsk. I can't.

Didn't see her this time but have seen her since her transformation, but she is the one you are probably thinking of with the short blonde hair and cute full face, always thought she was attractive .Even her teeth I remember were done over.

Know that it wasn't all Philosophy items that changed her skin but surely went under the knife.

WHY or WHY  can't  women just age gracefully,

I know what you mean. Very often they have not improved their looks as in the case of several actresses who have actually ruined their beautiful faces. Would name some, but don't think I should. Sometimes it is heartbreaking.

I would say most definitely.  I think her hair is too long too.  Sometimes trying to look younger backfires...I do like her as a spokesperson though.  I

She looks good, but, I see this often. New face/ different hairstyle. A method to distract from the difference in facial features.

She was beautiful before she started messing with her face & hair. If it weren't for the sound of her voice I wouldn't recognize her.

She definitely had some work dine on her face. I don't think it is just the weight loss that makes her look different. My favorite representative for Philosophy is Mari Lyn. The woman never seems to age.
