Good morning, BEauties. It's cloudy today but I don't think they're calling for rain. We went to see my MIL yesterday for her birthday, 81! We took cake and flowers, and she was very happy to see us. She's such a sweetie! She's my husband's dad's 2nd wife, DH's Mom died the year before we got married. So she's really been my only MIL.

Today is DH's b'day. His family's tradition is that the birthday person gets to have "Happy Birthday" sung on demand, so of course that's the first thing when you wake up in the morning. He's got a really busy day, otherwise I could expect a call sometime during the day. It's ok, I call him during the day on my b'day and make him sing, too.

Not a lot of work on the files that I've got, since I only have the rest of this week and next. But, I am making some progress. I'm bummed. I've got a file for a property on the shore, and thought I'd be able to make a trip down there. Nope, they can't arrange it until after my contract is up, so my boss will need to go. I would have liked to get it taken care of to spare her the trip, because she's so busy that she won't have time to even peak at the water while she's there!
