Sigh.

Morning. Guess I'll try to get to the store. Have dentist appts @1 and 2 for DS and I. His was scheduled for 2, but he has track pictures and wants to be/get there for his uniform. So, I'll let him have 1 and I'll take 2. I'll meet him there and this way I'll get to see what they say and ask some questions myself.

Prayers.

You're right on what those letters mean! Now you're a hipster!!! LOL

I was in the Mohegan Sun BE store on Sunday, and I spoke with the salesperson about the serum foundation. She said it is a wonderful product - she's used it and been trained on it by the training group - and that all stores will be having a special launch event when it rolls out nationwide in their stores. I can tell you that this particular store didn't have anything special at this time of year - in fact, one lavender eyeliner in a display was never even shipped to the store (of course, the one color I wanted). But the staffers there are very, very nice and helpful, and I like having a store the next town over. And they did offer free mascara and - for a $60 purchase - a free Ready eyecolor duo.

P.S. I forgot to add that she said the serum foundation colors are not the same as the mineral colors, and that they should really be seen in person before a selection is made. I don't have a problem with that - I would prefer to be right and not have to send anything back to QVC.

I am not a facebook fan. So, I am a little slow in the game. I FEEL INCREPID.. OH no-- I am the crypt keeper.{#emotions_dlg.lol}Thanks for the info. I had not ordered it yet and was kind of waiting. I am fair in foundation. I had to be color matched at the store in ready (fairly light). I assumed it would be different too.

Re: Daily Chat, Tues., 3/11/14

Good afternoon ladies. Sunny and warm. Might get some rain tonight and tomorrow.

Bethee, hope the dentist appointments went well. Is your computer behaving now?

Only 3 more weeks till we leave here and start back home. We are planning on stopping at myrtle beach for about 12 days on the way north. This was the quickest winter I've ever experienced. I just hope that the freezing weather is over by the time we get home.

Have a great evening everyone.

Re: Daily Chat, Tues., 3/11/14

Hello all, I'm going to wait on the serum foundation until I can try it in person too. I ordered it and cancelled 2x's here, I don't want to pay for more shipping charges without even knowing what color to order.

Quick winter? This feels like the longest winter in history to me! We're supposed to get up to 8 inches of snow tonight into the morning, will it ever end??? It was so nice here yesterday & today too, close to 50 which feels SO warm compared to the below temps and constant snow we've been having. We're up around 75" of snow this season, which is almost the 3rd snowiest winter in history. It's really been torture and I'm so ready for spring!

I just hope that the morning rush hour won't be too bad with the snow, and that it melts quickly and goes away for the winter!

Take care everyone!

Done with winter.

Re: Daily Chat, Tues., 3/11/14

Afternoon ladies! A day of cleaning & laundry here. I had so much energy today. It must be the weather, beautiful bright sun light & 60. All the snow is finally melted! I'm still trying to eat healthy. Today I'm wearing a pair of skinny jeans that haven't fit me for at least a year! Bethee, hope all goes well at the dentist. Your talking of pictures reminded me I haven't ordered DD senior pictures. Why the heck are the packages $500 and up? I'm rather upset they raise the prices for sr pictures when all the other grades are under $50. Sapphire, I agree, the winter flew by. Are you excited to get back home? Not much else is new. Tomorrow I should have my laptop back from the repair place. That'll be exciting, so I won't have to type on this little phone. Everyone enjoy your evening!

Re: Daily Chat, Tues., 3/11/14

Afternoon ladies, we reached a high of 77 degrees that I seen on my thermometer here, but look out mama nature is coming back tonight with possible thunder and snow. Don't think its any accumulation but they've been wrong before.

I am undecided on the new foundation I think I too will have to try it out in person before buying.

Hope all stay safe and warm

Re: Daily Chat, Tues., 3/11/14

Hi, ladies. Did well at dentist; no cavities for either of us. Older DS goes next week. It's been almost 70 here yesterday and today. Tomorrow will be 60 or so, BUT later in the day will be windy and rainy and temps drop. On Thur. high only in the 30s. I did get an eye doc appt. for this Thurs. I, too, think this winter has gone by rather slowly. Sapphire, enjoy MB. My parents, well, dad, still wants to get down to FL. Mom has PT, so we'll see. Love, hope your laptop gets back soon. Are you in the area to get pummeled w/snow again?

Going out to eat w/the ladies tonight. Have a good evening.

Ginabfly, it was a quick winter for us since it was our first one as snowbirds in Florida. I know that back home in ne Pennsylvania it was a long and brutal winter for the rest of the family.

Bethee, enjoy your dinner with the girls.
