Nice sunny warm day today. Supposed to get even warmer the next couple of days.

Nothing much going on. Since we are staying at our DD and SIL's while waiting for the camper DH started helping paint the house.

Got my garden planted- now to sit back and watch it grow!

Anyone get anything during the past BE shows? I was so tired Friday night I slept and did not watch the show. I'm starting to realize how much BE I already have.

A little gossip - I stopped into a NJ boutique for some foundation samples for girls at work. I told the BA that I usually go to the 34th St, NYC boutique, but they are closed down because of a fire. The 3rd St location is also closed down. The BA said the Times Square store was also closed. Oh well, can't take the girls there either. However, the BA said that Leslie had bought a place in Soho and there was talk of a new boutique in Soho! I really hope they reopen the 34th St boutique. It was so convinent for me and the BAs were so nice too.

The Times Square boutie is closed? Not that I live close to shop there (was the for DS's grad gift) and tax is way steep, but not good that stores are closed. I did stop into the 34th St. one, too!!

I got my new glasses today. I can see better distances, but the progressive part is not quite right. Plus, it's such a small area of focus anyway. May end up continually taking glasses off to work on computer. Feel like I don't have any mid-range improvement either. I think the inflammation may be getting worse, too.

Hi everyone. Hot and humid here today but after the winter we had....I will not complain.

Not much going on around here. Our garden has been in about 3 weeks and already the bean bushes are growing. The tomatoes and peppers look great and our peas (which we planted earlier) are going to town. Everything else is looking good, too. Beets, carrots, cucumbers.... Needless to say if it all does as well as it looks now I will be canning until the cows come home. Which is ok by me.

Today I picked five strawberries. I ate one and then cut the rest up for DH to have a snack on them with his lunch tomorrow. He still has to work until June 9th. He is a teacher's assistant in a school for children with special needs. Due to the harsh winter weather they close down more than most schools because a lot of the children can't take the cold air. He is not happy but I kept telling him all winter that it is better to close on -20 below wind chills than be out in it. Most of our kids can't do the "on line" or blizzard bags because they are severely mentally handicapped as well as physically handicapped.

Well, DH is patiently waiting for the computer and I have dishes to do so good night to all. Good to see all of you here in the chat.
