Good morning! It's 43 here. I'm tired as I slept very little last night. It appears DH did nothing but trash the house and eat while I was gone. He doesn't even have enough respect to fill a thimble! Oh and he let my cat out. He's now hurt with cuts on both sides of his head and won't eat. To top it off, Oscar came home drunk drunk drunk yesterday. He is on several meds, has ALOT of health problems, is diabetic and is not suppose to drink. It could have killed him. Makes me so mad that he has no concern for his health or others! OK I will stop whining and get on with my chores and phone calls I need to make. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Good morning ladies. Bethee, its supposed to snow here on Wed. That's a rarity in the state of Fl. but it does happen every 15 yrs or so. They say we will have 3 inches. Hard to believe so we will wait and see. Last time it was awful what it did to the wildlife around here. And my citrus trees may not make it if it does. They are already showing great stress from all the freezing temperatures we have had this year. But 5 degrees seriously I would be an icicle. Love sorry about all the troubles. Everyone stay warm and safe.

It is my 66th birthday today and I am thinking about having a birthday in July from now on. It is bitterly cold here. Wind chill factor is minus 35 this morning and it will be minus 50 tomorrow morning. We did get 5" of snow on yesterday. My DH & I had a pre birthday lunch yesterday as we don't want to go out of the house until at least Weds. Tonight we are ordering pizza delivery to our home from our favorite pizza place.

Twinny2, welcome and happy birthday! Are you in the upper mid-west w/those temps? I don't blame you for not wanting to go out. We're going down to 5 tonight w/windchills -5 to -10. Kids go 2-hrs late again tomorrow. I saw where coastal NC might get up to a foot of snow! I'm ready for spring!

Twinny, Happy b'day! Mine is 6 days before Christmas, and my DH's is exactly 6 months before. I've been trying to trade with him for years, but he just won't bite.

Love, that's just awful and terrible and rotten, but so Oscar-like!

Bethee, I'm so ready for spring. I actually won't mind it being winter for awhile if it wasn't just SOOO cold!

Bethee, Yes we live in the midwest (S. WI) to be exact. They said we haven't been this cold for this many days for over 20 years. The coldest I remember was in January 1977. Our DD was born in January 1973 and that year it was brutal. I love that we do have the four seasons.

I had a nice quiet, warm birthday today. Pizza was delivered to the house for dinner tonight, so we didn't have to go out. They are saying minus 50 tomorrow morning but a BIG 17 degrees on Weds. Spring can't come quick enough for me.

Catstamper, Happy belated birthday to you too. Our DD had her 41st birthday January 18, our DGS had his 13th birthday January 20th and our other DGS had his 11th birthday January 25th. I am bringing up the rear as they say. My DH has his birthday in April. I told him that January birthdays su*k!
