Today was lovely out and I hope the beginning of June stays this way all month!

Desi, finally summer. I know it isn't official till the 21 st but once June gets here it is summer to me. So glad your bunny is okay and back.

I will tell you, the first day I wear the orthaheels for the full day when I get up the next day my knees do hurt but it goes away and they are fine after that. I don't know if it is because as they say, they are aligning the knee and leg or not but after the first day my knees are good to go and is the only shoes I wear to walk the boards for hours. I can see though if someone wore them around the house a full day and got up the next day with aching knees or joints they would go right back but I gave them an extra day and glad I did so, everyone is different and of course what works for one doesn't work for the other. After 2 full days my knees still hurt so back this pair goes. It is odd though since the Molly ones are so comfy but the Molly ones A230080 doesn't have a real high high arch like this new TSV does, maybe that is why?

Don't know, weather says we are going down to the low to mid 40's tonight, is humid right now so will see.

Janet, did want to tell you, don't be afraid to order a body spray from bathed and infused. They are as nice or nicer than the PSS original version of the sprays before she came out with the EDP. They last long for me other than the Cashmere Mist which even in the original doesn't last for me but I do like the scent.

Well, DH is getting antsy to go someplace, thought he would be pooped. He worked all day in the yard plus went to Home Depot to pick up oak wood(his favorite) to make new seats for our heavy duty cast iron(black) chairs on the back seating area under the tree. The wood that was used for the seat part rotted last year and he said he could make a better seat and did. They have to be stained now but that is my part since I do all the outside staining of all our wood patio furniture etc.

Spent the wee hours helping CB pack - last minute, as always. Just the way he is, and sort of like me, but I don't wait quite as long for packing. He found another student he knows going back tomorrow too so they will tail each other. She is leaving early and he just got to bed. Hope he gets some sleep and they get there just fine.

Good to know sometimes the Orthaheels need getting used to.

I should get to sleep too, want to see CB go if I can.

Desi -- Can't believe it's June already -- another beautiful day but was cool last night. Went to Mass and the AC was on; glad I wore my lightweight fleece.

I think everyone puts off packing; but nice that CB has his car and can take whatever he needs and, if he forgets something can easily purchase it. Good luck to him on his Internship.

DSIL came down today -- brought our mail and cut the grass; didn't stay long as he had yard work to do home.

Glad Mr. Rabbit is back!! Our hummingbirds have returned and a sparrow has a nest in one of our birdhouses and robins have a nest on the gutter outside our kitchen window

doglover -- Thanks for telling me about Bath and Infused. Glad you are satisfied with their spray fragrance; would like to get one in Pure Grace. Looked at their site online last night.

Glad your Vionic Orthaheels are comfortable and now you can order another color.

Hope your fence is installed soon and your new awning works out. You are so lucky that your DH is so handy and can fix things and I know he loves to work in the yard. Good for you that you do the staining!

Last night when I turned out the light over our sink I pulled the chain right out of the fixture -- and this is the second time!! Our kitchen is rather dark so I'm glad it stays light longer. I called the electrician; told him what I did and asked if he could put a switch in so it's easier to turn on and off -- he should come early this week.

Janet, glad DSIL came and got the mail and mowed. Glad you took a cover-up to mass. It's lovely out here today too.

Believe it or not, I have pulled chains out of lights also at my folks house. I'm glad you are having an electrician come out just to make sure it's safe and easier to use.

CB got a call that the friend he was going to tail had a flat about when he was ready to leave. She was a few miles from her house. CB went, but has no experience with tires. She too had bought an old clunker, but unlike CB, didn't take it in and get it fixed up (she knew the tires were bad). He had already gotten 2 new tires, had the steering column fixed, and he and DH and older DS changed the oil.

So, CB went alone, successfully, yay! He had no problem. He called, had to get groceries etc, wanted suggestions. Always happy to hear from him.

I hope he enjoys his summer. He does have friends who also either have internships or other jobs, so maybe he will enjoy himself. Thanks for the good wishes on his internship. Hoping he can do it, but if the professor asked him, so he must think he is capable od doing whatever it is.

Rabbit has been around all day - pit-bull owner is MIA. Probably a correlation there!

There is definitely a nest in out bird-house. They are little black and white birds, not sure if they are starlings, chickadees, not sure. Glad you also have birds to watch. There are hummingbirds bu we don't have them near us for some reason.

Desi, glad CB got there safe and everything went okay. He will enjoy the summer I am sure. Glad bunny is still there, no sight of the tiger yet. We have 2 mourning doves on top of our AC on the back patio but can't tell if they are the parents or the babies, don't know if the eggs hatched or not yet. They look small and don't fly away but I see 2 other big ones coming and going so think these 2 small ones are the babies.

Janet, I too have pulled a string right out of the light, DH hates when I do that so thank goodness that kind are only in the basement and other than the one at the freezer I don't have to use any of the other ones. He put a light over the washer and dryer but hooked that up to a wall switch and that is 4 feet long so also takes care of the freezer now so I don't have to use the pull one. I think most wait till the last minute to pack or do a lot of things for that matter.

well, I downloaded my pictures but can't seem to post them here for some reason. If I figure it out I will try again.

Doglover, guess we all have issues with the old pull-chain lights!

I never seem to get photos to post in the right spot, they always spill out past the margins.

I shouldn't be up. Went to bed but not really sleepy so I got up again. Too much mommy stress and dealing with empty nest again.

Hope you missing kitty is back soon. I can't believe how unphased our bunny is by our presence. I'd try to hang out around him more but I am afraid if he gets too used to us he won't run from IPO. Then he'll be a doggy-treat! ${#emotions_dlg.scared}$

yes, thought you would be in bed a long time ago but guess it is mommy stress as you say. I uploaded some pictures to my photobucket of the cats and 2 possums I feed but can't seem to get them here?
