It seems the revolving door of hosts are hyped up trying to keep their jobs by selling more product.

Beauty and skincare products are difficult to store in warehouses for long periods of time before they go bad. Some of us have mentioned receiving expired products.

I'm buying more from HSN recently--- from Nassif, Korres, especially. And if I want to try something without spending so much $$, been going to ebay to buy small amounts. ---I have so much in my make up/skincare stash from the brands mentioned in this board--much of it I don't use anymore--trying to use up alot of stuff. And the beauty shows here are just so boring -----and the hair stuff----another snooze fest!!!

For me personally, it doesn't matter. I've pretty much settled on my routine and not really interested in experimenting anymore. That said, I'm probably in the minority.

I wonder, since HSN is moving to PA, if that has anything to do with it? Joining the two businesses they may have to do some consolidating and eliminating of some brands. Just an idea.

because i am just on SS and still want to look fun, I enjoy Elf brow pencil, Elf eye liner, Aldis facial creams. TJ has some nice offerings also.

Sometimes it pays to order beauty from Q but a lot of times it less expensive to search for a coupon code and order from the brand sites. Then add rakuten rebates you get a better deal. For instance the RMS skin tint on Q comes with the brush. Most people don’t need a brush. Plus there’s always a 20% coupon on rms. So why would people buy on Q. I did order a set of 3 eyelids from Q because it was cheaper per eye light rather then then 20% coupon. I did buy a dup of the Tarte maneater because I like the mascara a lot. But I rarely buy double of anything because I like to try new things so I don’t want two. I don’t wear makeup everyday and 1 oz of foundation will last a year.

If you click on Brands within the Beaty category there are almost 150 brands here. They don't all have hundreds of SKUs but they're there. For example, Dr Jart which I love.

Yes, and It's the same few lines over and over. Calista is on CONSTANTLY. That's the new hero line for QVC. I stopped buying Mally's products when she sold her company years ago. I found the quality, especially the mascara, not as good. The same with Philosophy, etc.

@Shanus , RMS ships directly from their SC location. Maybe that should be a requirement for some of the other brands if they don't want to worry about storage.

There are so many cool brands both make up and skin care, that should be given a chance on QVC to freshen things up.

Elemis skincare is so highly fragranced, so that is out for me, and I found the quality of Doll 10 not to my liking. I realize we all have different needs and budgets, but a change of the same rotation of brands would be refreshing.

Good to know abut ELF brow pencil. I've used the classic red pencil Maybellline brow liner for years and it's getting hard to find them.
