totally agree. I have dry mature skin and my makeup is on at least 12 hours and usually up to 14 or more hours every day/night. I find this to be a medium coverage but adding the concealer if you need one will help. I only use the concealer on days/night I don't get enough sleep and have darkness under the eye area, than I use the concealer but not usually.
The foundation doesn't settle into or show up any lines/wrinkles or pores and lasts the whole time I have it on and looks exactly the same without changing color like some do.
I am very glad I went on AD for this kit, love everything in it but the foundation for me is perfect.
I still love this foundation BUT, I found something I love even more, just got the new Josie Maran TSV and absolutely love it. I always got light in everything but after seeing models I ordered light medium in this, perfect color for me. I love the whole kit(did a review in fact) and while I am still going to get the September Doll10 TSV kit I am going to cancel the other 2 remaining kits. While I love the concealer, blush and mascara I love the Josie Maran newer foundation a whole lot more than the Doll10 which I do still really like but really like the JM a lot better. It may be the color, may be the consistency but the look and feel I get, so natural, I just prefer this. JMO but I did want to add to my post.
Isn't it funny when we think we finally found out perfect product only to try something else and fall in love again

My friend who ordered theTSV with the hydrogel foundation also said she wasn't happy with the foundation after awhile. The other day when I was doing the maker test she gave the rest to me. I am just not happy with the wear of it either and it really seems to make areas that are a bit drier look worse than they really are- even Laura Geller's baked elements foundation, which is a powder, doesn't do this. It is odd?
Anyway, I was going to get the TSV AD sets through her but I am going to pass now too -I thought she had sent her whole kit back but she actually didn't but said she DID cancel her AD on the TSV but she did throw the liptstick and blush out. The lipstick and blush are too scented and doesn't dissipate and now the foundation issues. The color does match me perfectly though but I agree with others- the packaging is really cheap, thin and flimsy and I was suprised how much my friend had went through on the foundation already but she said she has hardly used it so it must have very little product in it!
It is NOT full coverage as she says though so if you are looking for that, this is not for you. I was fine with it since I don't need or want full coverage. Not sure why she markets it as one. Sure you could build it up but you can do that with almost any foundation for more coverage.

It starts to break down on my face after three to four hours. It looked good at first. But, every time I wore it, I'd look in the mirror later and it just looked blotchy, or holes on my nose, and it settled in lines while sliding around. I tried it with various primers, but it's no better than drugstore brands. In fact drugstore brands are better and less expensive! Even the container is cheap.
I put Oil of Olay Regenerist serum under the Doll10 as my primer and the Doll10 went on perfectly and didn't settle into or show up fine lines/wrinkles or pores.
I do have very dry skin but using the oil of olay regenerist serum under a foundation does the trick for me. I also used my IT round top foundation brush(it is double ended) and that worked a lot better than the brush that came with it.
If you really want a great drugstore foundation try L'Oreal tru match. Get the tru match lumi if you have dry skin otherwise get the regular tru match. I do have the L'Oreal tru match lumi since I do have very dry skin and is my favorite of all drug store foundations.
I have 3 n in that but could also wear 2 n. I got light in Doll10 and light medium in the JM TSV and all are the same shade on me.
I put my foundation on between 5 and 6 PM and take it off between 7 and 9 AM the next morning. I have not had a problem with the L'Oreal tru match lumi or the Doll 10 or this new JM from the recent TSV.
