Re: DO YOU REMEMBER THESE BEAUTY LINES?

@Teddixat I was just googling around and it seems that Hydron Technologies is still in business. Article says that in 1993 they signed and exclusive with QVC for their beauty products. I could not find out why or what happened to that arrangement or even if they still make consumer products.

The company made contact lenses also.

@Judaline   I don't remember her, but also use "baby washcloths" that I purchase on Amazon.

If just talking about QVC, Living Proof is gone and it seems Calista has taken over. Bumble Bumble and Aveda have taken a backseat.

@Shanus I really liked Living Proof. I still use that. I didn't like Bumble & Bumble (made my hair flat and sticky). You're right though....Calista has dominated the hair market on the Q.

@catter70, I think you mean Elizabeth Grant. She is the WWII nurse who invented Torricelum for burns. I think she may have hit 100 by now! Lovely lady. I used her products for years, then she disappeared from ShopHQ. Her granddaughter Margot now runs the company.

I believe it's Elizabeth Grant.  I looked it up and it's at Shop HQ and at QVC.

Wasn't Liz Earle On Shop HQ for many years, then went to QVC. I thought she had returned to Shop. Her grandaughter was the vendor rep, right? I don't get that channel anymore , so I don't know for sure.

You may be thinking of Elizabeth Grant.  Her granddaughter is the rep for the brand and it's back on ShopHQ.

I never heard of either of the brands OP mentioned.

@Teddixat @seehorse - Liz Earle is still available in the U.S. through the Liz Earle website.  LizEarleDOTcom.

I started using Liz Earle when I was living in the UK and still use it.  If you sign up for their emails you'll get notice of all the sales, etc.

I often have my British friends bring me stuff when they come over, but I also order direct from Liz Earle.  Shipping is fast; prices are directly converted from British pounds to dollars.  Everything is always very well-packed.  (20% off your first order, when you sign up for emails; free delivery over $25.)

(ETA:  @seehorse - I noticed you've ordered from the website; the sales and packages they offer are still great value, whatever the currency exchange is doing, IMO.)
